Documents without a detour through another app
Contracts, letters from the authorities, instructions, study materials: documents arrive in Telegram all the time, and translating them usually means downloading, uploading and copying between apps. With the bot you forward the file and get the translation in the same chat.
Each page is translated separately and the result keeps the page order. A PDF made of scanned pages is read like a photo, so it works even when the text can’t be selected.
How to translate a document
Send the file the usual way, as a document.
- Open the bot and send it a PDF, DOCX or TXT file.
- Tap the language you need. A progress line shows how many pages are done.
- Read the translation in the chat, or download it as a TXT, DOCX or PDF file.
A summary when you don’t need every word
Under the translation there is a Summary button. It condenses the translated text into a few lines in the same language: what the document is, what it asks of you, the dates and amounts that matter. Useful for long letters and reports you only need to understand, not to sign.
Long documents
If a document is longer than the translations you have left, the bot offers to translate the first pages now and the rest later. A page that fails or has no text is not counted, and if the connection drops, you continue from where it stopped.

Questions
Which file types are supported?
PDF, DOCX and TXT files. Pictures sent as files are translated like photos. Old .doc files need to be saved as DOCX first.
How are documents counted?
One page of a PDF counts as one translation. For DOCX and TXT, every 3,000 characters or so count as one. Pages without text and pages that fail are not counted.
Is the formatting kept?
The text keeps its paragraphs, lists and page order. Tables and pictures are not rebuilt; you get the translated text, and you can save it as DOCX or PDF.
Can it translate a scanned PDF?
Yes. Pages that are pictures are read like photos, so the text doesn’t need to be selectable.
